Health Connect is Android’s on-device health store — Samsung Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, Garmin, Oura and others write into it. Like HealthKit it has no web API, so a small companion app does the syncing.
Pairing also signs the phone into this account, so the Today dashboard works straight away.

Waiting for your phone
This page updates automatically once the app checks in.
1
Install the Android companion app and sign in
Same account as this portal. Identity only — Health Connect permissions come next.
2
Grant Health Connect permissions
Android's own permission sheet lets you choose exactly which record types to share (heart rate, sleep, steps, SpO₂…).
3
Initial import
Up to a year of history, then incremental syncs via the changes API. Timing of background syncs is controlled by Android.
Building the Android bridge? Read Health Connect records with the SDK and post them to POST /api/v1/ingest/batch as { device, samples: [{ type: "HeartRateRecord", value, unit, start, end, offsetMin }], workouts: [...] } with this device token as a Bearer header. Record names (HeartRateRecord, SleepSessionRecord, StepsRecord…) are mapped to the portal’s canonical metrics.
